Jan 23 and 24 tried to set up Nomrobo which is a feature offered by Xfinity to eliminate robo calls on Xfinity landline doing all things Xfinity and Nomorobo site says to do. Does not show up on Voice Advanced Call Forwarding for Xfinity primary account holder as it should per Nomorobo website. Xfinity help desk could not get it going after 30 minutes of discussion and I gave up. Xfinity help and I repeated the drill to set up and still not fiunctional. Help said wait a few days and check Voice account to see if account has Nomorobo functionality.
I've used NOMOROBO for a few year now. In general it works good. You can add phone numbers to their webite. BUT the spammers just call in to my landline phone via Xfinity and just spoof in a different number and name. I'm even getting calls from NOMOROBO that are SPAM. I answered one and got in a tobacco use survey!!!
Do something XFINITY!!!!
