I recevied the below email reducing the features of voice service. Does this mean you are lowering the price as you are reducing services? Is there an upside for us in this? - Michael
Beginning in May 2020, certain features of your Xfinity Voice service will be changing.
See below for the full list of speed dial and stored number features that will be affected by this change.

The ability to save 911, 211, 411 and other N11 numbers as part of a speed dial entry will no longer be available. Please note that you will still be able to dial these important numbers and that it is only the ability to save these numbers as a speed dial that will no longer be available. Additionally, the ability to save these numbers as speed dials on your own phone hardware will not be impacted by this change.

The ability to save a star code such as *67, for example, as part of a speed dial entry will also no longer be available. Please note that you will still be able to dial * codes and it is only the ability to save * codes as a speed dial that will no longer be available.

If you enter an invalid number as a part of a speed dial, selective call forwarding, or variable call forwarding entry, you may not be notified that the number you have entered is invalid.
|
• |
Selective call forwarding will no longer forward an anonymous call if you have Anonymous Call Rejection enabled with your service.
|
• |
You can no longer dial a star code and a Speed Dial code together as one sequence. For example, '*67-4#' and '*67-44#' will generate an error announcement.
|
• |
For Repeat Dialing (*66) and Call Return (*69), you can only make a single repeat dial or call return request to one telephone number at time.
|
• |
You can no longer enter an invalid number as a Call Screening entry. For example, "555-555" will generate an error.
|
• |
If you elect to place your account on seasonal hold, you will not be able to activate Variable Call forwarding via a star code. You may still use the Xfinity Connect website or mobile app to activate Selective or Advanced Call Forwarding.
