Phone lines on going not working

For over 6 to 8 months my second phone line has not been working.  I have called numerous times and been told erroneous information with no help or technician.  I have tried to solve this myself unsuccessfull and partially only.

 

Just a bout two weeks ago my primary phone line went out as well.  We called and had a technician scheduled.  When the technician came out we were told he could not fix the problem and he left.  He did not schedule amother repair service.

 

We have one 1 phone line working.  We paid for two.  We need both to work.  We had to hook the phone line ourselves directly into the modem changing what the original tech had set up in order to have a phone for safety since no on ehas come to fix it.  Out second line continues to be on the bill however, it has not worked in almost 8 months.

I feel your pain. I have a second line, a fax line that has now not been working for one week, which means a loss of referrals to my practice. I reported this on 5/25, a technician came out on 5/26, and found that number was "missing" although the line remains on my account. I have spent endless hours on the phone, each time with someone new trying to resolve this before the beginning of a new work week. All to no end. Now, in addition to having no functioning phone and fax line, I iwll have to start a complaint about the bill. I will also spend this week looking for other options to rid myself of xfinity.

Hi there @Jslogan. Thanks for reaching out. The Voice2Go phone number feature that allows you to make and receive phone calls on your mobile device using your Xfinity home phone number or additional created Voice2Go phone numbers was discontinued on April 20. Additional Voice2Go phone numbers created for Voice2Go can no longer receive calls and cannot be ported. However, you can still set up Advanced Call Forwarding to help you never miss a call to your home phone number. It allows you to select up to four additional phone numbers to ring when a call comes into your home phone. Here's info on how https://comca.st/3gruqK0
