I have had Xfinity Phone for about a year, but haven't used the voice portion in some time. I tested this recently and found I find I can call out on it fine. My cell phone can accept calls from this phone.
When I try to call my number from my cell phone or another phone, it does not ring, and goes to an answering machine for a Cannabis service. I also have the voicemail set up, but notice no new messages for a few months. Have the incoming calls been disabled?
Thanks. Yes, the Xfinity outgoing phone number matches that of what is expected. The number is what is displayed from my Comcast website login under the Voice page.
From my cell phone, I can use the "recent" call log to call the Xfinity phone back. It just gets directed to a business instead of my Xfinity phone.
