Landline phone doesn't indicate voicemail
I have a Panasonic cordless phone. The yellow flashing light which indicates voicemail doesn't work. I know there is voicemail when I press *99 but otherwise there is no signal indicating voicemail. This feature worked prefectly well when I had AT&T as my carrier. Would be grateful for help.

I'm dealing with same issue now. Wondered if you were able to resolve the problem, and if so, how. Thanks

Just wanted to share that finally yesterday I was able to contact real people at Comcast and they were terrific. It appears that when I set up the new equipment in late January after switching to Xfinity 1, I plugged the phone line into the wrong port on the back of the modum. For me it was just a matter of moving the phone input line into the first port on the modum, rather than the second. Don't know if this is something you can try, but it totally fixed all my issues.

Thank you for your kind reply. When I looked at the back of my modem this morning, I noticed the telephone cable was plugged in to the opening on the far left (#1). So I switched it to the opening on the far right (#2). This is the reverse of what you did. Then, I called my landline from my mobile phone and left a message. Congratulate me. I got a flashing yellow light and the phone's screen said VOICEMAIL. This worked 2 out of 3 times. So, fingers crossed, it will owrk now. Thanks again for the update
