Incoming calls drops

Incoming calls drops

We have Voip phone through Comcast and every call made drops when answered.   Outgoing function is normal.   Have spent over an hour with support to no avail and have a tech coming over Saturday.  Router reset, done.   All other service working normal.

 

Anybody with ideas appreciated....

When someone is calling my home landline they hear this lease state your name and google voice will try to connect you".  So I cannot receive any incoming calls but can place calls.

Modem replaced yesterday. Problem cleared.

We are experiencing the same thing.

Several callers to our comcasr cable landline have been unable to reach our US number over the last week. 

Anyone know why?

For me, replacing the modem that manages incoming call at our home was the fix.   I could have gone and picked up a new one...would have been more convenient.
