If your cable box is set to display caller ID the first thing I'd do is power cycle the cable box and also power cycle the modem. If that does not help call comcast support at
: 1-800-COMCAST (1-800-266-2278) or 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489)

I had to call in - I had recently changed my plan and they had inadvertently turned off the caller Id function on my account even though it was supposed to be there. Once they turned it back on, it worked. Perhaps when you called to activate the new router the same thing happened to you.

Same here. I renewed a triple play plan and everything was supposed to be the same, but somehow the caller ID display and voice mail disappeared and I had to call customer service to have them re-enabled on my account.

I just got Xfinity Voice and made sure to have the Notifications set to "On" through the Settings of the X1 menu, but I'm not getting the Caller ID on the screen. Is there something that has to be set up at Comcast to enable Caller ID for the screen? It's working OK with Caller ID telephones in the house.

I think it and voice mail are features that have to be activated for the account on the billing side and once in a while it gets missed. Call them and check.

Mine was 'accidentally' turned off on Comcast end when I changed something else - you should call them

INTERESTING THAT NO ONE FROM COMCAST/XFINITY1 IS IN HERE OFFERING ANY SOLUTION THAT ACTUALLY WORKS, DOES ANYONE THERE EVEN KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS ANYMORE!😡🤡😷
