I had to call in - I had recently changed my plan and they had inadvertently turned off the caller Id function on my account even though it was supposed to be there. Once they turned it back on, it worked. Perhaps when you called to activate the new router the same thing happened to you.
Same here. I renewed a triple play plan and everything was supposed to be the same, but somehow the caller ID display and voice mail disappeared and I had to call customer service to have them re-enabled on my account.
