user name kick
when i log into email, my username first comes up as kick then resets itself back to the right one.

We are aware of this issue and have a fix waiting along with some others discussed in the forums.
With everything going on we want to limit changes to our system and therefore this will get rolled out at a later time.

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session. If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser. I have not seen this before in the forum.

i have the same issue with kick showing up first and then your name. I called them about it and they said they never heard of this issue before and said it must be a glitch and that was it

This has been happening to me too. It started in February. Not sure what it means or if there is a glitch with signing into xfinity comcast.

I have the same issue. Kick comes up as the user name before it changes over to mine. Changing browser, computers, etc. does NOT work it is still there. Comcast should be able to fix this but everyone is saying they won't even admit is exist.

Same thing happens to me all the time. Even after cleaning my browser and all the worthless files left over from trackers.

That happened to me too recently. Oddly enough it was a brief, one-time thing. It went away as fast as it appeared and hasn't happened since.

I have been having the same issue for a few weeks now and I also get a notification that there is a web page slowing up my email page, sometimes I get a timed out message. Sometimes I have to close my browser and restart as many as three times it in order to get my emails. I always clear out my history etc. This all started when I got the name KICK coming up as the user.

According to Gabriel (Comcast Employee) there is a fix waiting. I personally don't know what they are waiting for. After the Kick name appears you are correct numerous other issues begin to occur. Hopefully Gabriel will tell others that this is not getting any better and more and more people are responding to this. Come on Comcast fix this!!!! If you look back in this thread you will find Gabriel's post and maybe you should ask him what is the wait.

The issue does not compromise the security of an account and is strictly a visual error. As mentioned, unfortunately changes to the system are currently limited and a fix will be applied at a later date.

I like your user name....
"Kick" is another word for "redirect" (obviously it can also be used for "disconnect" too but not in this case). Likely some programmer used it as a note/variable/function name within their code, probably where it looks up your name from your email address or something, and due to a bug it is displayed for a split second. I see it too. Its not anything to be concerned about.
