I have a VERY old comcast email account that I can still access. I can send out but not received emails. I am sure it has been inactivated and need to re-activate to receive a very important email that will only send to this address.

If the account had been deactivated, you would not be able to send. Do outgoing emails show up in the Sent folder? Can you get to the Inbox by signing in? If you send yourself an email from some other account you have like Yahoo or Gmail, does it show up OK?
Then call Comcast security and ask them to see what is going on with that account--------------------

I did call the number you suggested and the problem was fixed. I had to go thru a couple of techs and assigned a ticket number, but the email is receiving. Thank you very much.
