Thank you. This from tuckeredf worked:
A recent Chrome update fixed the problem but you can do it manually if that's the browser causing the problem.
1. Go to Settings menu (in three dot at upper right of screen)
2. Scroll down and select "Advanced"
3. In Advanced, select "Content Settings"
4. Go to "Pop-ups and redirects (it should be set to "blocked")
5. Select "Allow" and "Add" this: https://connect.xfinity.com
That should fix it.

I have the same issue and just started a few days ago. Comcast chat help said it's because they are doing an upgrade, but not sure that's it. It's a pain and frustrating.

This seems to work...hovering and right-click and choose "Open link in new window".
I'm only having this issue on my desktop (ASUS PC) not my iPad or iPhone, but still....what's up with THAT suddenly (mid-January 2019 onward)?!

I took the advice of some others and checked my pop-up blocker and changed it and now my hyperlinks work again

email has links to other places. When I click on to open them I noticed that at the end of the link address something is adding on a nearly infinite number of alphabets and numbers so the link cannot open. However, if I right clink on the link and open it in a new window, it will open and the annoying additions are not there. Assume I've been invaded but cannot find info on this anomaly...Help!!!

Just forward to another email account say gmail and the link will work.

Same here. I just forward those emails to my gmail account and the link then works. Easier than trying to solve xfinity's problems for them.

On phone, press the link til menu comes up and open in new incognito window.
Very little effort or time to do this. Plus it is way more secure than having all popups enabled all the time.
