Log into your account on the website and select 'Users'.  Creating a new user will create an email account for it.  Additional info in https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Email-Web-Browsing/New-Email/m-p/3337726#M218398

Thanks for the rep[ly Joe! Still having an issue as far as adding contact name and email which is myself.  I want to add another email address for myself. When I fill in contact info which  is me  and i put my current email address in and phone number for text  it says already in use. I hope this makes sense. Not sure what to do

I created a second user for myself with its own email address months ago, to test this 'second email address' question.  It works fine and checking the profile, I have NO contact information (email address nor phone number) associated with it.  You should be able to create the 'profile' of the new user with email address, without entering any contact information as long as you select 'Viewer' as the 'user role'.  As the other community forum thread I referenced discusses, you can change the role from 'Viewer' to something else later.

The user portion of the email address is the username, e.g. username@comcast.net.  When you created the profile, the email account should have been established.
