email

keep getting message saying my mailbox has reached 100% of my quota so trherefore I cannot receive email.  the problem is that every email sent to me since Feb has duplicated in Comcast's system by 12 times! this was discovered by an Apple technician. My mailbox is inoperable and no one at Comcast can help. Also, all of their ingoing phone lines are down today.

@val75 I've reached out to our engineers to have them try to de-duplicate the emails. I recommend changing your password and re-adding your email to your apple devices to ensure a single instance is logged with the devices.

The engineers have confirmed that the de-duplication has been completed and after the threshold is still at 87%. I do recommend also starting to archive/save any important emails and clear out the actual mailbox.

I have spent hours deduplicating my comcast email, thereby eliminating several hundred, quite possibly thousands. the email still does not work. I cannot receive emails, nor can I delete them from my apple email platform. I have diligently emptied the comcast trash and still no change. i am unable to reach anyone on the phone. THIS PROBLEM IS NOT FIXED!

go ahead and create a backup of any emails you wish to retain and let me know once that is completed. I can have our engineers completely clear out the mailbox to 0 emails and see if anything changes from there.
