how do i select all without deleting all?

Comcast said over a month ago that a fix is in the works. See https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Email-Web-Browsing/Appsuite-webmail-v7-10-0-1-3/m-p/3276335#M213220 and the employee reply to it.

Until they fix it, the best workaround I know of is to:

Click the Select box for the first message in the delete range, then
Shift-click the last message in the delete range, then
Click to clear the Select box for any messages in the range you don't want to delete, then
Click the Trash icon.
