connection to internet TV programs refusing to connect

There was a problem verifying your account with your TV service provider. A second message then appears saying  "Failure to write to storage: Allow access or try again."  I thought Xfinity was my TV service provider.  How can this be corrected?

What were you trying to watch?  Could be whatever it was is not available via the internet from Xfinity.
