For the last week I have been unable to access comcast email on my iMac using safari. I have been able to do this on my iphone, but getting tiresome reading email on the small screen.
When I attempt to open email i get message:
Safari can't open the Page
Safari can't open the page "https://xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net" because safari can't establish a secure connection to the server "xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net"

Although it should resolve the URL isn't correct. Try
https://connect.xfinity.com/ instead.

Sorry, but that link makes no difference. I called Tech Support about this last Friday, and was first informed that Comcast doesn't support Safari, and that the department that would deal with this closed at 5pm, but would call me back the next day. Naturally, no one did.
You were given bad information. Safari is indeed supported by Comcast. See the link below--------------------

If you haven't already, try clearing history and cache in Safari, then close it and start it up again in a fresh session.
I meant to say “I cannot receive email at all! I can not find anyone knowledgeable enough to help me. All I receive are promises that I will receive a phone call back. Never happens!

No one from here is going to call you back. Did you try Latoque's suggestion?
I have this same problem. Clearing cache and history does nothing. Keep getting the security warning. Works on iphone and Chrome, but not Safari. On Chrome, I intermittantly get the not secure warning on the address bar.
