Xfinity mail problem with Edge
Often when I am composing an email in the xfinity mail app using the Edge browser it will not let me add a CC'd address or write anything in the Subject box. It occurs 95% of the time. On one occasion I exited mail, restarted the computer, and reopened mail and it worked, but only once. I do not have any problem if I use Chrome.
Unrelated to Edge but still an xFinity issue - I have also noticed that the Xfinity mail app is sluggish or non-functional (will open but not allow me to pull down to refresh) on our iPhones. Again, not always but most of the time.

I am able to duplicate the same issue using Edge and the Comcast webmail UI. The To; line seems to work just fine, but I can't even get the cursor to appear in Cc or Bcc. However, if you click on the little address book at the right end of the field, or on CC or Bcc and get into the address book that way, you can check on individual contacts and then hit the Select button at the bottom of that window, and it will put the contact in the field. But the search field in either case doesn't work, so you have to scroll to the contacts you want. Bit of a job but it works until Comcast and Microsoft get it sorted out.

The one workaround I have found so far is to fill in the CC or BCC box first and the Subject box before I enter an address in "To:". The one issue I can't seem to resolve is opening a link without having to right click and open in a new tab.
You would think Microsoft and Comcast, as industry leaders, could fix this for us - or at least respond on this, their forum.

Hi...I haven't found a solution yet....Two options tho....After you have finished the email and click "send", you have the option to insert a "subject"...However, you still can't delete a recipient or access the subject box once yoy have entered a recipient. Also, using Chrome solves the problem....just a bandaid if you still want to use Edge....Hopefully MS and Xfinity will solve this problem...

Just to add----I have Edge on my Mac, and the Compose window in the Comcast webmail UI works exactly as it should, including the auto-suggest for the To: field, and the Subject field. 🤔
