Why is Comcast putting certain Emails in their Spam Folder

The Comcast web site continues to put Emails in their Spam folder even though I go through the "Not Spam" procedure. And further since I use Windows Live mail,  I don't know that these Emails are being held in thei Spam folder.

Sorry, I misinterpreted your question.

It's recommended that you check the spam folder once a week. This is from an email Xfinity sent on 5/10/20.

Email Client Users (Windows Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.)

  1. Select the message you wish to report as spam.
  2. Forward the spam message as an attachment to missed-spam@comcast.net.

See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/mark-email-as-spam-xfinity-connect.

On the Comcast web site, Comcast is putting certain Emails into their Spam folder on their web site. These Emails never reach my Windows Live mail so I don't even know they exist unless I log on to the Comcast web site.

Yes, but when I Click on the Emails (Reader Supported News) and click on not Spam, Comcast keeps putting any new Emails from Reader Supported News into their Spam folder. And I don't know it unless I go on the Comcast web site. Which I don't normally do since I'm using Windows Live Mail.

They are recommending that you check your webmail spam folder weekly so you don't miss any miscategorized spam. Windows Live Mail has no way of communicating that with Xfinity.
