Where's All My Emails?

I accidentally "marked all" my emails as trash on my iphone when I meant to mark as read. I went to the trash folder and tried moving back to inbox, but now I only have emails from today and the next is from 2017. I logged on to a PC to check my inbox and I have emails from 2018. I logged on to my iCloud adn there are NO emails there. Where have all my emails gone?
