When I send an email using the web interface the display name in the "From:" line is "date is 0725" followed by my correct email address, eg.:
From: date is 0725 <firstname.lastname@example.org>
I have checked the settings in my user profile but I am unable to change the name and don't see the incorrect name there.
This used to be correct in the past.
Any idea how to fix this? It's next to impossible to find out how to send email to Comcast to fix this issue.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Open a Compose window for a new email. At the far right end of the From line/field, you should see a small arrowhead. Click on that and you will get a window with "Edit names" at the bottom. Click on that and you can change whatever is in that field.
