I need my emails back!!! I have not deleted any emails in my inbox for years, saving all of my readable voice mails and notices of payment that are due or made. I am on autopay so I typically just mark all emails as read and leave them in the inbox, unless I need to review a readable voice mail like today, or an email about new services.
My brother passed away last week, and today I wanted to forward a copy of all the readable voice mail emails to my mother (as well as see what date my comcast bill jumped by $50/mo). But I discovered that ALL emails prior to March 5th 2020 are gone. They are not in the inbox where they should be, and my junk, sent, and trash are empty. To be safe, today I created a folder called "Saved" and copied my few remaining emails to there, but that "Saved" folder is not showing up in Mac Mail or Xfinity Connect App, it's only in the web browser mail.
I looked in my Mac Mail comcast IMAP account, Xfinity Connect App on iPhone, and on the web at https://connect.xfinity.com and they all only have emails from 3/5/2020 thru today, but nothing older.
I don't understand how this can happen, because my hotmail, yahoo, and gmail have emails still there dating back to 10-15 years ago, and I should have 12 years of my Comcast.net emails in my inbox.
I'm more than upset, I'm fuming, and I need to have my inbox contents recovered.
My password is secure, I am the only one that knows it, and nobody else has access to my email. Here is what Mac Mail is set to do with my emails - nothing.
