Unable to reply to email get error 9999

Hello, please help..I just the past two days have been unable to reply to my xfinity emails. I get an error unable to reply try again later [9999]. I also am unable to open attachments in emails. This is happening on my iPad. Thanks in advance for help correcting this as I need to reply to emails every day.
