Trying to check an older comcast email and I don't want xfinity voice

When I sign into an older account just to check the email, I see I have 12 unread emails.  But I can't open them.  There is a big announcement page telling me to "Get more from your Xfinity Internet and Voice package" by connecting to xfinity connect.  The problem is that we don't have voice and we don't want it.  We have internet and tv and don't want the voice.  I don't want to inadvertently sign up for something I don't want.  Any suggestions?

When you say an "older account", do you mean a secondary account?  Or one from a former service address?  Exactly what happens when you sign into it?  Are you getting to the Inbox page?

It's just an additional email address I've had with my account for a long time but rarely check.  When I sign in on that email address and click to check email the page reloads with  "Get Connected Welcome to Xfinity Connect.  Get more from your Xfinity Internet and Voice package. It's email, voicemail, and contacts, all in one place, at no additional cost."  with a button to reactivate.

To clarify, I'm the original poster

Not quite sure how this happened but I am the original poster and it's showing as my other user name.  I don't have voice in my package and don't want it.  I answered your question in the previous post.  Thanks.
