I have had my comcast address for well over 10 years and only in the last 3 week have been getting tons of spam. I made sure spam filtering is turned on and added a significant number of filter rules. Still getting many new spam emails and many with rules are still getting through.
I've done everything I can on my side and need help on the server side. Waiting on call back from Comcast CSA, but also seeing a number of posts on this same topic so concerned this is a broader issue.
How can I get help on this as it's beyond annoying and I'm sure I will miss something important at some point?
As always, it's a cat-and-mouse game. The spammers found a trick to get through the filters, and Comcast has to figure out how to fine tune them without also catching legitimate mail.
I finally heard from CSA and apparently there is nothing they can do. The advice I received was to keep marking as spam and it will eventually subside, so that's what I've been doing.
