Starred emails vanished: need them recovered.

My problem is related to what's in this thread: https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Email-Web-Browsing/All-emails-are-gone/td-p/3314081

I have emails that were starred that mysteriously disappeared from my inbox. They are important and I need them back. They are no longer in any folders, and when I search a term in the subject line ("HSPD12") they don't appear. Not sure why they vanished, but I need them recovered.

@Benito1 you have an email client configured in POP3 that has likely deleted the messages after being archived for a certain time period. The server confirms thousands of access logs with POP3. You will want to review the settings on the device configured in POP3 and attempt recovery from there. You will want to go to our webmail at xfinity.com and under Settings>Advanced Serttings make sure that the option "POP Settings for Other Apps" is set to "Keep".

On the Xfinity phone app I see very limited folder choices. One is 'Starred' emails - I have been searching for days to figure out how to do this.

How do I mark and email a 'Starred'????????

Are you using the Xfinity Connect app?  It's been retired.  You should probably be using a different email app to collect your email.

@user_121242, thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. Welcome to the community! Our team is happy to help but as our expert stated, we will need some additional information. How are you attempting to look at and retrieve your emails? I understand you mentioned the app, however the Xfinity Connect App is no longer available to our customers. Are you using a third-party mail client (Outlook, Gmail, Thunderbird)? I am sure working together we will get to the bottom of this.

I no longer work for Comcast.
