Spike in Spam/Unsolicited Emails

Anyone else experiencing a dramatic spike in receiving a ton more spam/unsolicited emails to their comcast.net email accounts and, if so, what's behind it? I used to receive a few very sporadically, like twice a month. Now, I'm getting 4-6 every day. Incredibly annoying.
