My daughter's email account can receive email from some addresses (including mine) but is not receiving email from others (e.g. password reset email from sony entertainment - playstation network).
Many years ago I set up this email account with a whitelist of email addresses that were approved for her. I don't see any way to view or change those settings now. Is it possible that they are preventing her from receiving these messages?

If the Safe list function is still in place-------yes it would keep messages from coming in that are from senders that are not on the list. On the Inbox page, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner, then on Email Settings>>>>>>Advanced settings. The first item is the Safe list. You can disable it there.
