Search function not responding using Xfinity email page

When I enter a term in the search box and hit return/search, I've noticed recently that nothing happens.

 

I'm not finding any pattern to when it works and when it doesn't. Does it perform better using a particular browser?

Are you searching all folders, or only a specific one?

It depends on what I'm searching for. In this most recent case, it was the entire folder. Since writing this, it worked again. But why on-again, off-again?!
