I'am getting a prompt that forces me to reset my password every 3-4 days. I called tech support and they said they fixed it a week ago but it is still happening.
@ComcastCSAEmail Can you please solve this?
Pam
I'm also having this problem almost daily now. Tons of threads on this. I have spoken with regular customer service, with Customer Security Assurance. I have changed my password several times and now my user name. This is a Comcast issue that needs to be resolved. Tired of having to log back into multiple streaming apps on several devices almost daily. Makes my service unusable, and at this level of frustration, I'm ready to cut cable completely... Please fix the issue Comcast @ComcastCSAEmail!
I am sending you a PM to discuss more details.
@RockyMountainX I am sending you a PM to discuss more details.
@Ursabear I am also sending you a PM with more info.
I do not know how to open a private message.
My problem is not resolved regarding having to continually log in.
I went to my profile, clicked on subscriptions & notifications tab, but did not know what changes to make as was suggested. I clicked save changes as told. Still no help.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you.

You should see this in the upper right corner of this page. Click on the envelope to see a listing of your private messages.
[This is what I see on my page, btw]
Thanks, I figured out how to get my private messages. However, none of them helped and I'm still having to log in to my email each time. Even when I click on "Save" password.
My problem is not resolved regarding having to continually log in. It was suggested that I go to my profile, click on subscriptions & notifications tab, and make changes. I was not told what changes to make. Then save the changes. However, when I did this, I did not know what changes to make in order to stop having to log in with my username and password. So, I'm still having a problem. Can you tell me what I'm supposed to check in subscriptions & notifications in order to have this problem resolved please?
I appologize, I am terrible at using this forum.

In order to save your password you'll need to have cookies set for the website. That is a function of your browser, so you need to check your settings for that.
Thanks for your patience!!
Can you tell me how to do what you say above regarding having cookies set for the website? You say that is a function of my browser, so I need to check my settings for that.
I'm sorry, I do not understand how to do that. Is it possible for you to be very explicit and number each procedure for me? I know that is asking a lot. This is so difficult for me but I'm trying to get it.

What browser are you using?
In Google Chrome, in the upper right corner of the browser click on the 3 dots and when the box opens click on Settings.
Then, under Privacy and Security click on Cookies and other site data.
Next up is Sites that can always use cookies.
You want to add https://connect.xfinity.com and check All cookies on this site only, then click Add.
If you want to save cookies for Xfinity, add https://xfinity.com and check All cookies on this site only, then click Add.
Now, I will be honest and say I do not use Chrome, I use Firefox. So, if this doesn't work for you feel free to send me a PM [Ursabear only, please] and we'll work on getting this set up for you.
I still have no solution to this problem after calling Comcast twice over the last 3 weeks. They have promised to fix the forced reset prompt but have been unable to do so. Was forced again to resset password just yesterday.
No help has been provided on this forrum either. Someone from comcast did pm me for my email adress and that was the extent of their outreach, no follow up information was provided.
will this ever be solved?

How can I begin to thank you!!! It worked. This has been such a frustrating problem for me and I have spent hours trying to figure it out. You are a real asset to this forum! Thank you so very much.
@Ursabear I'm glad we got things working for you. It has been my pleasure helping you. 🙂

I'm sorry that you're still having problems. Maybe @ComcastCSAEmail, or @ComcastJonathan will be able to help you. You can try sending @ComcastSPAAbuse another PM, though, and see if they respond.
This has been an ongoing issue for me as well. Required to reset my password every few days. I'm able to use the same password, which is ridiculous. This needs to be resolved ASAP
Got a reply pointing me to a standard security tips document. Yes, I have two-factor authentication on, as well as the authentication app, and I still get password resets at least weekly. Comcast, I implore you, making customers change their password weekly (or more often) is the OPPOSITE of security. Do you really think the average customer is going to come up with a unique password twice a week?? Fix it...
