Removing email addresses from spam

I have emails from a couple of senders that have been put in spam folder for some time. I mark them as not spam pretty much daily at this point, and have done for a number of weeks but still they continue to go into spam folder... one of them even goes in to my Inbox, if I reply to it and get a reply back it now goes to spam. How do I stop this behaviour? Does marking as not spam do anything except waste my time?

Marking an email as not spam is a way to help train the filters.  But it's not tailored to your individual account, but is system-wide.  It can take a long time and a lot of markings to get it right.  In the meantime, call Comcast security and see if there is an issue with that sender's domain----------------
