PROBLEM WITH E-MAIL

Hi,

I've reported before that I could not access links/articles within my Comcast e-mail.  Your forum was very helpful and told me to use Edge not Chrome as my browser.  So I've been doing that.  But today I received some kind of dangerous pop-up warning me that all my data, etc. was at risk and "not to shut down my computer."  The only way to get out of the horrible scammer mess IS to shut down the computer.  It only happens when I'm on Edge browser and in my Comcast e-mail.  YOU REALLY NEED TO LOOK INTO THIS!  My desktop crashed a few weeks ago, and this may have been the cause.  I don't need it to destroy what I'm using now.  Please take care of this.  Thank you.

It sounds like an attempted browser highjacking.  Shut down Edge to clear it.  Did you run a scan of your system with your A/V software to see if it finds anything?  Also, you can use Chrome if you like, but for links in the emails right now, right-click on the links to open them from that menu in a tab or window.
