Is there a recent change to comcast SMTP service?

I'm the moderator of an academic mailing list.  I've written a program to distributed approved emails to the appropriate listserv.  Since I have comcast for internet, I send them out via smtp.comcast.net port 587 using TLS.  This has worked without problem for the last number of years.  However, starting last week (it might have been a little earlier than that, but the mailing list has fairly low volume) emails that I send seem to fall into a black hole.  I did some debugging, and the dialog from the comcast SMTP server indicates that the email was accepted.  I even tried to have it (as a test) sent to my work id instead of the listserv.  It never appeared.  So is comcast blocking such?

@AlgebraVic I was able to receive your PM and review the information you had provided. Looking at the server i was able to identify that your emails were being marked as spam when being sent. I've processed for this to be cleared and should apply within the hour. Should i find any further details in regards to this, ill send you a PM.

I haven't received the PM.  Where should it be?  Is it email, or somewhere else?

I clicked on the envelope icon on the upper right in my browser. There's nothing there.  I do have gmail grabbing my comcast mail via imap, and I see other email there, but nothing related to this.

Should be a Private Message in this Community Forum.  Click on the envlope icon upper right if you're on a browser, next to the Notifications bell icon.

It should NOT be an email, but a private message within this forum.

Do you have the 'Private Messenger' option turned on in your profile->Settings->Preferences?  Right click on the icon next to the envelope icon to get to Settings.

You're on the wrong row of icons, drop down into the Forum row of icons:

@AlgebraVic unfortunately for some reason the send PM button is absent on your profile for me, can you please attempt to send me one with the details of the configuration (what you are using to autneticate to the smtp server, the sending IP, domain, etc.) When you click on my profile you should see a blue button indicating "send a message" in the top right corner

The icon next to the envelope is streaming.  Next to that is home, next is xfi, then voice, then mobile.  No settings icon.  There is a settings icon in mail, but there's no mention of private messages.

There is no "Browse button" in reply (I've scanned the whole page and hovered over every icon).  My preferences do *not* have a Private Messenger heading.  I've been on comcast internet for over 20 years.  Is it possible that because my account is so old that it doesn't have all of the options?

I went to Profile->Settings->Preferences.  There is no Private Messenger option.  I did take a screen shot, but as far as I can see, there's no way to upload it.

At the bottom of this Reply To Message is a Browse button which lets you select a .jpg file to attach.  This is what I see:

What browser are you using?  Maybe try a different one?  I use MS Edge mainly.

To follow up, I used firefox (at work) and chrome and safari on my imac and iphone.  It was all the same until about 8:30pm last night.  I'm guessing that someone at comcast fixed my account.  Now private message and browse showed up.  One other question: I did notice that there was no browse button for private messages.  Is that the way it is, or is my account still lacking something?

When I go into Private Messaging and open up a New Message, there is NO Browse button.  There IS, however, a Photos icon (and it is in this Reply Post, as well) that allows adding a .jpg file.Photos icon.jpg

This kind of got off-topic, sorry.  Did you ever receive a Private Message or able to send one to @ComcastCSAEmail as requested?
