Incoming Email With No Body

I have received numerous messages in my xfinity/connect inbox through the web browser that have a sender, a subject, and a date sent but no body in the message.  Even though I haven't read these messages, the envelope on the line is open rather than blue and closed.  These messages do not show up in Mac Mail on my computer.  The senders are not in my contact list, but messages from other senders who aren't in my contact list come through correctly both in the web inbox and Mac Mail.  In addition messages that I delete from the inbox using Mac Mail on my computer show in the web inbox as no body.  On the web, if I look at another folder (spam, for example) and then go back to inbox these messages often do not display again, or get interspersed with other normal messages, and not in time sequence even though that's how the messages are sorted.

Comcast has done two restores which recovered the actual bodyless messages, and I've turned off all spam filters in Xfinity and on my computer, but the condition persists with new emails arriving.  This seems like a Comcast issue, since the messages are findable and recoverable, so it appears to be some kind of pointer issue.  Has this happened to anyone else?

I've had the same problem with all e-mails from four senders.  Been going on for several years now.  Only those four senders are involved.  I get a gazillion e-mails from other private, commercial, governmental, non-profit, etc. senders that are all okay -- but anything from those four senders comes through with blank content areas.

I haven't ID'ed any common denominator among them.  3 different ISP's are involved.  The problem in my case occurs no matter which of three devices I use to try to open these e-mails.

The problem is happening somewhere in the Xfinity server system -- not at my end or the senders' ends.

It's frustrating and annoying, but I don't know what to do about it.

The only working solution I've been able to come up with is to have the four senders use my Gmail account instead of my Xfinity account.
