I set-up my e-mail account on Windows 10 and clicked 'Sign-in'/Done.
However, there is no single e-mail coming to my 'in-box,' ..... saying that there is no mail or something similar phrase popping up in the middle of the screen/envelope-icon.

Do you mean you set up the account in the mail app that comes bundled with Windows 10? Or are you using a client like Outlook or Thunderbird? Have you tried sending yourself an email from some other account you have like Yahoo or Gmail? Does it show up OK?
