How to eliminate the ad panel on the right side

When using the browser interface for Comcast/Xfinity email (https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/#!!&app=io.ox/mail&folder=default0/INBOX) it includes an Ad Panel on the right side. It can be manually hidden each time the page is opened, but I want to permenately remove it.

Unlike GMail, Yahoo, etc., this email is part of the service I pay for and I don't want to see ads taking up space that I want to be showing more of my folders and the subject of the emails.

How can I remove this Ad Panel?

Try https://my.xfinity.com/digitalads.

If that doesn't work, visit https://www.xfinity.com/privacy/manage-optouts and click the "Set Preferences" link under "Digital Advertising", then click the OFF button under "Email Banner Advertising".

Visit https://my.xfinity.com/adinformation/ (log in if necessary) and click the TURN OFF EMAIL ADS button. The page is error-prone, so you may need to do this more than once.

OK, thanks!  I think I stumbled on this screen earlier and got it set as you indicated.  We'll see how well it works.

As stated by the OP, for a service that I pay for and with fees that increase at >10% per year, I expect to have to tolerate absolutely ZERO advertisements of any sort.
