How do I get rid of deliver failure status messages.

I keep getting an email as follows.  I don't care that the email isn't delivered.  How do you get your server to stop trying to resend it and sending me emails as a result.

    This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients was aborted after 6.5 hour(s):

 * email address here (redacted)
Reason: Temporary Failure

Reporting-MTA: dns;
Received-From-MTA: dns;
Arrival-Date: Sun, 31 May 2020 19:45:45 +0000

Final-recipient: rfc822; <Edited>
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 450 4.2.2 >: user is overquota

Last-attempt-Date: Mon, 01 Jun 2020 02:13:09 +0000

the person you are sending to - their mailbox is full. They will need to delete emails to clear up some space.

I have the same problem. The email address I sent to was wrong. How to I get the email to stop resending?

You'll just have to wait it out; it will eventually stop.
