Final Warning -- email received

I have been recieving email to my comcast.net accounts telling me that Xfinity is rolling over today (10/6). My mail needs to be upgraded today before they roll over to a new version.

Is this real or spam?

It sounds like a phishing email, but we don't have enough of the message to tell for sure. To my knowledge Comcast is not "rolling over" to a new email system today, nor any other day in the near future.

If you check your email with Comcast's Xfinity Connect webmail (https://connect.xfinity.com/), look for the XFINITY Verified Email logo next to any message that claims to be from Comcast/Xfinity. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-verified-email. If the logo is missing when you view the message in webmail, the message is not from Comcast.

Unfortunately, AFAIK the logo is not present when you view one of their messages in an email app or program, not even in Comcast's own email app. It's only visible when you use their web email site.

Please don't post email addresses. The message is a scam. If you want to report it to Comcast, follow the "Report Spam and Phishing Emails" link on https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse/ and scroll down to the "Report Phishing Emails" section.
