Email messages not being received by comcast customers
We are a high school and we send out nightly grade reports to parents, many of which are comcast customers. Sometime in mid December, those messages stopped being received. I have tested and captured packets and have determined that the messages are still being sent and accepted by comcast's email servers but then nothing happens. They just disappear.
Could you please put me in contact with the department that could help me determine why these messsages are not being delivered?
I have tried many different avenues over the past few months trying to get this resolved and they have all been dead ends.
Thank you,
Bob

Hi @ComcastAntiSpam ,
I am having an issue when i send email via my postfix based email server not being received by my personal comcast.net account. it is also affecting others users sending to comcast.net accounts via this server which i manage.
I filled out the Block removal form and received a block removal request reply that said my server ip was not listed .."is currently not on our blocklist" so that is not the problem. I have both spf and dkim defined for all domains that use this mailserver to send mail.
Just to be clear. This issue seems to only be when sent to comcast.net addresses from this server. No bounces are received but the test messages seem to dissapear.
Can you assist please?
TIA.

Same issue. After successfully sending emails to a specific comcast member for years, she is no longer getting my emails. Please advise on a possible fix.

I'm also having the same issue.
My domain predig.com seems to be getting rejected by comcast mail servers. This hasn't been an issue in the past and seems to have just started happening over the past handful of days. Here is info from my predig.com log on Google Apps:

Wow, the more I read through the forums, the more I see that this has been going on for a very, very long time. I wonder how many customers, like myself, have spent hours and hours on the telephone and in the Xfinity chat application trying to find out what's wrong, only to have un-trained "customer service technicians" babble nonsense about "reload your Outlook" and show no knowledge or understanding that this is a months, if not years, ongoing problem.
When they tell me to reload my "Outlook" and I tell them I have a Macintosh, they have no idea what a Macintosh is. This situation is ridiculous. The problem is not with us users' computers, but the only "customer service" people we can reach robotically tell us that the problem is on our end and we must... "reload" our mail software. This is insane.
I exchanged messages with ComcastKenF a couple days ago, he seemed totally unware that this has been going on for all these months, and I'm waiting for him to get back to me.

I just went back to the beginning of this thread and read nearly all of it.
It seems that Xfinity's in-house customer service (not the offshore boiler rooms) is treating this as a one-off problem, going in and doing something to each complaining customer's email setup, one person at a time. This has been going on for far too long. This is no way to run a railroad.
There needs to be a system-wide evaluation of what the problem is and a system-wide repair applied. Additionally, the low-level customer service people in offshore boiler rooms need to be given an actual, factual, response to this endemic complaint to give to the unhappy customer who just waited 2 hours to talk to someone at Xfinity, rather than to just tell us to reload our "Outlook."
How many of you have Macs? Do you check your Connection Doctor menu when this happens? Did Xfinity's servers have red dots instead of green ones? That's a clue right there.

So I suppose my request is just going to continually get ignored? My domain predig.com seems to be getting rejected by comcast mail servers. I also can't send email out of my Comcast account to the predig.com domain. This hasn't been an issue in the past and seems to have just started happening over the past handful of days.

Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see any private message link in the upper right of your page.
I have multiple senders (that I know of) who are sending me emails I never receive and they do not receive any error message or indication that message did not make it.
Please let me know how I can forward you details.
Thanks

Hi - Not sure why your post came to me. I don't work for Xfinity.
I've been on and off these forums for years trying to convince Xfinity that they really should pay more attention to the serious problems with emails not reaching destinations. Every now and then I get uppity enough that an Xfinity employee responds and gives me a link to respond back. The posts usually then show up in the feed of that particular subject.
Meanwhile, the case of the undelivered and disappeared emails continues. This nonsense has been going on for a very long time.
I'm fairly knowledgeable about web stuff and comprehend what completing a handshake between my MacPro tower and the various Xfinity email accounts I have means. I've used Apple's Mail application for 30 years, it always works, and it has an application in a pull-down menue called Connection Doctor that reliably tells you whether you've connected with the Xfinity email server or not. I trust Connection Doctor, if it shows a green dot, then I've successfully connected with Xfinity's email server. Then when I look at my Xfinity web page's email box, the missing emails are just sitting there. In a day or two the finally pop up on my end when I check my mail on my Mac. The Xfinity technicians seem puzzled, and appear to think all this trouble is caused by us users, not by bugs in their email infrastructure.
Annoying, yes. I don't think they care much about the email part of their business, it's not a profit center, so they just let the problems pile up. They just want to market premium channels and videos to us. That's where the profit is.
I was just re-reading previous posts on this subject. The Xfinity techs keep telling people to "turn their spam folder on". That sounds weird just to begin with. Worse, a couple months ago I did turn ON the spam folder hoping it might actually catch some of the flood of spam I get. No, the spam kept flowing down to me, but the "spam folder" on Xfinity was full of missing emails that most definitely were not spam. When I marked them "not spam" they were finally delivered. I assumed, foolishly, that marking those emails "not spam" would educate Xfinity's software that any further emails from that person or domain wouldn't be tossed in the spam folder. Nope, that doesn't work, so I turned the useless spam folder off again. Around and around we go with Xfinity technical support, nothing gets fixed. Inconceivable!

Hello: I have 2 email accounts that are experiencing the same thing. We have a client and earlier this week his emails stopped being delivered or show up very sporadically. I will send a private message with the info.
