Email comes in then disappears!

Hello friends

OK here’s the issue. I’ll be working in my email either using Outlook or on the server and I’ll see a email come in and then it disappears real fast and it’s not in any folder. Also when I go to scan something to my email from my Bluetooth printer the same thing happens. I see it come in to my inbox and then disappears real quick.

Any ideas?

Do you have another device with the account enabled on it using POP3?  If so, it may be downloading the messages and then deleting them from the server.

Yes an iPad and iPhone..I’ll check the settings when I get home... I’m not sure what setting got changed...everything used to be fine just started doing it in the last few weeks.

Setting on iPad look fine...i dont see where i need to make changes to prevent this from happening

no...both are IMAP...is that what you are asking?

Is the account enabled on either device using POP3?  If so, that's what is likely causing this issue.

Hello...thank you for getting involved and trying to help...This issue I’ve be inquiring about is actually for my wife who does a lot of work on her computer at home. I just asked her and she said she had no rules set up from certain senders and this issue is still happening.

FWIW, it would be better if she were the one posting here since it's her email that is having the problem.
