Email Filters
Trying to prevent emails from a certain domain from reaching my account. I tried "Discard," but it only puts them in Spam, where I have to delete them manually. I tried to research "Reject with Reason," but I couldn't find any Xfinity documentation that explains what this is and how it works. (i.e. what should one enter in the Reason box?) I also tried searching for this forum, but I'm guessing they get archived after some time, because I saw some subjects that might address it, but when I clicked on the hyperlink for some of them, it just took me to the forum home page. So I apologize if this has been addressed previously, but I've struck out on everything so far. Thanks in advance!

If Comcast's systems determine that an email is spam, and if you have Enable Spam Filtering and Save A Copy checked in Settings, they'll deliver the message to the Spam folder instead of the Inbox. Filters only work on email delivered to the Inbox.
The post at https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Email-Web-Browsing/blocking-emails-from-nl/m-p/3201730#M207071 describes it.

"Reject with reason" is an action you can assign to a filter. It lets you generate a "bounce" message to a particular sender that you don't want emails from.
