HOW CAN I GET RID OF THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE APPEARING CONSTANTLY ON MY COMCAST E-MAIL ACCOUNT EVERY TIME I OPEN UP AND EVEN WHILE I'M TYPING? I DON'T USE GMAIL AT ALL. VERY DISCONCERTING.
We’re no longer able to provide access to Gmail emails through Xfinity Webmail. We’re working with Google to determine if we will be able to restore this capability, and we’ll contact you if we reach a solution. Please know your Gmail emails haven’t been affected. You can still sign into Gmail on your web browser and through the Gmail app to view your emails.

Did you add your Gmail account to the section in your Comcast webmail UI where it says "Add mail account" in the left folders pane? If so, that is what is being referred to.
