I have a comcast email address among several other email addresses and I have never encountered this problem with any other service. For the third time all my emails in my inbox have been moved to the trash. Currently they are still showing up on my mobile device as in my inbox, but I'm not sure how long that will last. I am not doing anything. The amount of time it takes to sort through the trash and recover a thousand emails is ridiculously long. I would like to know why this is happening and if there is a way to send them all back to the inbox without having to go through all of them individually.
I am having the same problem. On an occasional basis, all emails in inbox are moved to the Trash folder. I usually use other email clients than the Comcast website (ios) and they just disappear on that view. Anyone have any idea why the messages would be deleted? Note that it happens when I am not viewing mail, so I don't think anything I did caused it.
