Additional Email Address

How can I create an additional  Email Address for my wife.  My wife periodically has to communicate with people for a community service project.  She would rather the recipients not have her personal email address.  How can I create an account for her that uses a pseudonym for her name?

You can have up to 6 secondary accounts in addition to your Primary. Here are the instructions-------

your answer doesn't solve the problem. I am also trying to create a email address for a new user. The help instructions you linked to states:

  1. A confirmation message will appear, and the new user will receive an email or text message invitation to create their account. They will need to accept their invitation by entering the primary user’s street address.

If the user doesn't have an email address to set up an email account to receive the invitation email, then how are they supposed to receive the invitation email? Doesn't one need the address to be created first?

I'm trying to do the same and there does not appear to be a way to actually accomplish this. Unbelievably frustrating that we have to rely on community volunteers to even get some kind of response.

 

And to the volunteers, thank you for attempting to assist. I wish a Comcast support employee would somehow be available to answer questions.

It seems bizarre to me, but to create a Manager or Member type user, the user must already have an email address or a text-message-capable phone number. If the user has neither, you can only set them up as a Viewer type user and then, if desired, promote them to a Manager or Member. See https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Email-Web-Browsing/Adding-A-Secondary-Email/m-p/3339130#M218513 for an explanation of why Comcast set it up this way and cautions about promoting Viewer type users.
