Xfinity Home Security - Question on dimming the touch screen panel
Is there a way to set the touch screen control panel to go dark after 5 minutes or to set the brightness level?
There appears to be a button along right side above volume but it has no effect on display.
We have this device in a bedroom and finding the brightness a issue.
(pillow case currently over it during night to resolve)

There are a few settings that you might like.
From the main screen, tap Settings and choose Devices. Enter your Master Code and then choose Touchscreen.
First, check out Do Not Disturb and select Screen Backlight. Here you can choose to turn the backlight off at night, and define the off and on times.
Once you set that, click the options in the lower right to return to the Touchscreen menu...
...Then choose Screen Configuration. Here you can set the overall Screen Brightness, as well as Automatic Screen dimming.

The above solution worked but I had to reboot control panel

Hmm... when you click on the Settings icon (gear) in the upper-right, choose Devices, enter your Master Code , and select Touchscreen... What options do you see?
