Re: Trying to pair Visonic MCT-427 sma Smoke Detector with control center

why doesn't somebody just post the answer to this question I will not give up my account information to anyone be at publicly or privately that's why they are called security systems the key word being security to break security one must give up account information that is crucial to the secret identity or security so either post the answer here or get off of here if you're truly a Comcast employee you will help us otherwise you're a scammer trying to get people's information so that you can go break into their homes sorry either post the daggone question or get the heck off of this site

why do the people at the local Xfinity store tell us that we can install smoke detectors ourselves now I'm here I'm seeing that a technician needs to come to our homes to do it either someone is lying or whatever Comcast you just trying to get more money out of their customers I'll tell you what I'm starting to regret buying this system they've had to be here twice already because they forgot to install sensors they didn't program anything I had to figure that out myself and do it myself I mean this is getting ridiculous so if I have to have a technician coming install the smoke detector guess what I'll have an entire separate system installed by another company that doesn't charge you every time that you sneeze to get something done and Comcast can show this thing right up where the sun does not shine

Did you not read the info in the previous thread? A smoke detector requires a professional install. You can't do this on your own.
BTW, nobody's asking you for your account information, and it's expressly prohibited in the forum guidelines to post this in public. If you don’t trust the Official Employees on this site, feel free to call the toll free number to get support at 1(800)-XFINITY .
