Concerning the wireless keypad (not touch screen) - Alarm status light?

Question: Is there a way to have the wireless keypad display a status of Armed or Not?

Use Case: We have walked down stairs past the keypad and not realized the system was armed and set off the alarm. If it blink every 5 seconds the light at the bottom Red - it may warn us as we walk by it.

The touch screen does provide a status but that is in a dedicated bedroom.

It could see this being a battery issue and that was the reason to not do this.

Fedge -

You can check the status of the system on all of our keypads, but some require you to press a button (to conserve battery power, as you noted). The closest thing to what you are looking for is the Centralite model, which shows status when you are in close proximity.

More info on checking status here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/home-secure-centralite-wireless-keypad

The only other device that has an LED that remains constantly lit to show arming status other than the Touchscreen is a Siren Repeater.

You can also get creative and use a lighting controller to turn a light on or off using a rule which can also give you a visual indication.

I just checked and our Works with Xfinity Home partner GE is having a sale on lighting controllers for $24.95 if that's helpful!
