Can Xfinity Home Security work with internet wireless gateway in bridge mode?

I am currently exploring getting a router to have behind my current wireless gateway and then operating the gateway in bridge mode.  The complication to this is that I have Xfinity Home Security.

Given that the Xfinity Home Security touchscreen works off wifi, I want to make sure that the SSID that Xfinity Home Security works on will not be disabled when my wireless gateway enters bridge mode.  I have noticed that the touchpad is on the 172.16.0.0/12 address range where the wireless gateway WLAN is on the 10.0.0.0/8 address range.  This leads me to believe that the Xfinity Home Security touchpad SSID functionality has been broken off from xFi.

Please note that the following article only mentions xFi functionality being impacted by bridge mode and not Xfinity Home Security:

Thanks in advance!

A tech will have to come out and install a Netgear router with pre-installed security software

I have the XB6 in Bridge Mode so I can use the Orbi for my home wifi.

I also have the XHome system and the XB6 supports it, so I do not need an extra modem for XHome.
