It's obvious that Xfinity has zero plans to integrate voice activated smart devices with its home security system. They clearly want to corner the market, attempting to convince customers talking to a remote is the same as talking to a smart home device. There is no doubt in my mind if they wanted it, it would already be done, with the massive resources Xfinity has (5.5 billion cash on hand as of 12/19). My bet is on Xfinity attempting to release it's own smart device and face planting hard. Think Bixby. At least Samsung has the confidence with their other products to let them integrate with Apple, Google, Alexa. Most likely because so many people are cutting the cable cord for better options (Xfinity doesn't even broadcast in 4k). They sell services, that now we dont necessarily need them for, and are now trying to release products to hook people into long term contracts/bundles. They should bite the bullet and integrate before they become blockbuster 2.0. I will not be renewing my contract if this integration does not happen. Shame on you Xfinity.
