xFi pods redemption process

I recently received an email about qualifying for free xfi pods after completion of my in home wifi assessment (Of course I am qualified because my house is big and a lot of the devices are not within a good range of the gateway). When I click the link to get the pods for free that I received in the email, I'm redirected to the Xfi pods page, I click on "Get Pods" and then redirected again. The page shows some loading and text like "Adding to your plan", etc. After a few seconds it redirects once more and shows a page that says "It looks like this product isn't available for you to purchase right now. Please check back again soon" or something similar to that. I called Xfinity directly and the agent told me that the pods will be shipped within 2 weeks. I asked to provide a follow-up email regarding the shipment and updates information but the agent could not provide me any answers. What? So now I have to wait for another 2 weeks? What is the purpose of that email? I would like to pick up my pods at a local store but the agent said no. I am very disappointed with their customer service. Can someone give me some advise? Or I just have to wait for another 2 weeks which added up to a month of waiting time?

I am having the same issue.  I have even been to the local xfinity store and no one can help me.  It is very frustrating.  I have the email that says I am entitled to the xFi pods and I cannot get them.  (But if you want to buy them, they are in stock).

 

Can someone from Xfinity please help us.
