Why advertise 'stop in a store today' for a promo rate...when they're only for NEW customers?
I heard an ad for a 'double play' for $89.99 a month for two years on the radio...while I was already on my way to pay our extremely high (for the "slow" high speed internet and very few channels we actually watch) bill of $154.25 in said store.
So I spoke with somebody in that store and...surprise surprise....no promo for you....unless I wanted to add voice (with a non optional additional fee of $15 a month for a telephony modem) and thus bump UP our bill to $180 and change. 🙄
Yet just now on the cell phone we have through Xfinity Mobile I signed into the Xfinity site and decided to mess with the 'change plan' page and to my shock and amazement I found a promo page with LOWER prices for me, an existing customer. 😲 Unfortunately ALL of them were triple plays. So by the time you add in the $15 fee for the phone modem and the assorted major airline styled superfluous fees (broadcast TV, sports) we'd be back at or even ABOVE $150 and change again.🤣

I'm definitely about ready to 'cut the cord'. Only problem is I'd have to figure out where to take our 27" SDtv my family and I have been using for our cable service since I'd rather just get a Roku/Kindle Fire TV so it's an all in one device with no switching between or having to program multiple remotes.
Between the lack of any response on asking for a new deal on here (and in their stores) to the deceptive advertising on TV, radio and internet (get these great deals...if you're a new customer) to the fact that the ONLY channel I really watch regularly (Adult Swim) has cancelled the one show I was actually excited for a new season of (Venture Bros) there's really nothing left for me on cable.
