I've been having intermittent connectivity issues since a storm a few weeks ago--frequently losing internet on all devices for short periods, significantly disrupting my work.
The second time I called about it (let's not talk about the first time), I got a great rep who looked at my logs and saw the errors, and sent out a technician. The technician arrived on time, did his thing around my house, and before leaving said that everything was fine in my home, but he was picking up interference from the street lines. He said he'd put in a ticket for someone to come out to climb the pole; he thought maybe they would come yesterday afternoon.
Today, still having internet problems. Called to find out the timeline for this second technician, but the representative had no clue, couldn't find a record, wanted to run more diagnostics (told me that my internet is working now, which I know), told me that someone is monitoring remotely and that I'll receive a callback if there are problems.
I am not in a rush, I just want to make sure that my issues didn't get filed away as resolved. I don't care when it's fixed, I just don't want to spend anymore time calling in to make sure it will be fixed.
